SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

Bryan Mills Iradesso (BMIR), an integrated corporate communications firm, is currently accepting applications for a Web Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Design and code web solutions by utilizing advanced knowledge of programming and scripting languages
• Work closely with project teams and clients to establish and implement comprehensive and cohesive web strategies
• Develop strategies and plan for web environment architecture to support the development and evolution of web services

• Provide leadership of web team through effective communications, preparing resource plans, assigning and directing work

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient with HTML, CSS and  JavaScript
• Understanding of W3C standards and techniques
• Adept with browser compatibility and search engine optimization techniques
• Familiar with Subversion
• Ablility to work in phpDesigner, Eclipse or similar IDEs
• Experience developing CMS-supported websites an asset
• Knowledge in MooTools and jQuery JavaScript frameworks an asset
• Experience in Flash and PHP programming an asset
• Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Familiar in Windows based environment
• Self-motivated, excellent analytical abilities, creative problem-solver, ability to plan and organize, attention to detail

• Ability to communicate well with other programmers and in a user-friendly language for non-technical team members

Other Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or an extraordinary demonstration of capabilities
• Web portfolio

• Experience with online marketing initiatives, strategies and executions
